"Wow!!! What an absolutely idylic spot. The absolute in GLAMping.
The tipi has every comfort you can think of, while you still have the all the best of what camping can offer, with an outdoor kitchen and a wonderful outdoor shower. I thought it looked great when we booked but the pictures on their site cannot convey the absolute tranquility the site offers. Our hosts, Miranda and Aaron were absolutely wonderful, they have thought of everything you will need, and offer a load of really thoughtful extras.
We went for a special occassion and we will definitely be back."

We're an intimate, peaceful North Devon glamping site of private meadows, fields, and woodlands - which are yours to explore whilst you stay with us. You'll find our 4 tipis rooted in one of our secluded meadows, far enough apart from one another to give you plenty of privacy. Here you can enjoy the stress-easing power of the birds, flowers, and fresh Devon air just beyond the canvas walls of your tipi.

HARTA retreat is tucked inland, a short drive from the North Devon coast with its award-winning beaches: Wollacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands. Barnstaple is on our doorstep as is Exmoor National Park. So there's amble treasures for you to enjoy, without having far to go.

We are the grown-up faces behind HARTA retreat (with two little helpers behind the scenes who you may meet too!). We moved to Devon to enjoy a slower pace of life and leave behind the rush of corporate life. You'll find us on-site, a short walk up the hill from your tipis so are always on-hand should you need us.
